Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter and occasionally host SportsNation. Her first job at ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was a bi-lingual since the age of nine years old, a valuable skill that helped her secure her first job as a production assistant with Univision in Miami which gave her the chance to collaborate with producers of national programming such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. She was hired as an reporter at The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. Her move in Rio Grande Valley in 2009 as a reporter for the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Antonietta was a senior in high school having a clear idea of where she wanted her life to be like, visited Mount Union University to check whether it was a good fit for her. The result was that she liked the campus and also that the university had the major she wanted. When she completed her high school studies, she was accepted into the university to study media studies. Her instructor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was student in her class, built a relationship that lasted for a lifetime with her. Mark Bergmann inspired her to be confident and self-confident. His passion for journalism had a profound impact on her and she in turn, strived to live up to his expectations, and to never let him down.
