Ward was born in MonroeLouisianaon April 15,1976. Ward attended an exclusive Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. Following the completion of the requirements for high school and then attending River Oaks High School in the summer before her junior year. She was a member of the drill and dance team. She attended Northeast Louisiana University briefly after the completion of her degree. In the year she turned thirteen, old Ward began modeling leaving school, and then moving into New York in order to do so. She attempted acting later in the year. She was first cast uncredited in the late 1970s for the soap-opera All My Children. Later she was cast on NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin in Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, she began her film career as Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the horror movie The In Crowd. It wasn't a major success in cinemas however, it was a huge success with home-video and cable. Ward was a cameo in Shallow Hal - a smash success the next year. Apart from her direct-to-DVD parts, she also appeared in numerous guest appearances on television programs like Friends. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of a young gymna ston on the ABC Family drama show Make It or Break It being a part of the cast in the series' first two seasons. In terms of her private life, she is married to David C. Robinson. With him they had Cameron.

She is also known as Dr. Pimple Popper she has more than 13 million followers on the You Tube Instagram and Facebook accounts together. She also appeared in the series of six Dr. Pimple Popper on TLC. Addition ally she has launched her own line of skincare products and has authored an entertaining comprehensive illustrated manual on skin care.
